astoria museum
lighting design

The Museum of Historic Astoria, Oregon requested an update on their lighting design layout. An update to the museum proper interior, artifact room, restroom, and lobby was to be refinished along with the lighting plan.

ASTORIA, OREGON
The historic city of Astoria, Oregon sits at the north-western peak of the state snuggled by the mouth of the Columbia River in Clatsop County adjacent the Pacific Ocean. Astoria is Oregon’s oldest city, its roots having connections to the Lewis and Clark trail and industries like fur trading, fishing, and logging. Later, Astoria grew to be a port city as being located at the river’s mouth allowed for more efficient trading and shipping across seas. Today, Astoria is best known for its coastal climate, picturesque seaside / forest landscapes, Victorian-styled homes, and its cruise stop + Naval base.
