palm springs
mid-century modern home

A residential design project curated around a moody palette and earth tones.

The clients for this Palm Springs Mid-Century Modern Home project are a young couple, purchasing their first home. One is a local tattoo artist gaining a large following for her tattooing talent. The other is a plant pathologist who studies how plant health can be affected. The two found a smaller house for a starter home, wanting something cozy enough to settle down for a while.

Two additional spaces the couple requires is an art studio space to work on tattoo designs and a study space to research botany and enjoy their abundance of house plants. Art and plants will adorn the home to incorporate both of their passions into their home design.

*This is a conceptual design.*
